CINABRE SUPPORTS DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS

Last week, I was contacted for a fundraising. I am not talking about P&L, Excel spreadsheets or bullish profit forecasts. Sarah Andelman (founder of the legendary Colette store) and Sofia Sanchez de Betak (founder of the successful brand Chufy) asked me to participate to “A little something” fundraising campaign: an auction to support the 43,000 doctors, nurses, logisticians, epidemiologists and administrators of the charitable organization Doctors Without Borders. No need to tell you that they really need our support right now.

That's how I found my portrait among the brightest minds of the Fashion industry. OMG!

THE HAUTEVILLE TOTE BAG AT 100$? GOING, GOING,...GONE !

The auction starts today until Sunday April 19 2020. All items start at 100$. It includes a unique signed sketch by Albert Elbaz, a Rimowa x Dior handcase or a tennis racket signed by Maria Sharapova. Regarding Cinabre item, I prepared a limited edition Hauteville tote bag with a surprise and unique bow tie inside, made of an exclusive vintage fabric from our archives.

I am very proud to be an humble contributor to this great fundraising campaign. Together with Alban, my business partner, we also want to share with you two other actions we are personally involved in and which requires mainly some free time.

2 OTHER INITIATIVES WE SUPPORT

You have some time off? It's a great opportunity to write a letter to lonely elderly people. There is a French platform dedicated to this action. Check out in your own country, there might be the same initiative. More than 113 100 letters, including Alban's, have been sent already.

You have more free time? You can help the farmers. There is a great platform in France where you can choose your region and skills to find the right farms. And to test your motivation (and to remind you that a pair of boots is always required) I recommend you to watch the awards winning short film "73 Cows". It takes 15 minutes and it does not idealize the farm life, to say the least. The story of Jay Wilde shows you how difficult it can be to work as a farmer today and to change your business completely. I know, it does not sound very appealing but if you are still enthousiastic about the farm life you should definitely support the farmers in these difficult times.
