Finally!

We’ve moved! Remember? We announced it two months ago. Since then, we've been welcoming the most courageous of you into our shop-construction site full of promises and boxes. A few "finishes" later, and here we are. It's amazing. We figured it’s high time to show you a few pictures of our new home, nestled in a hidden residence, and designed in collaboration with the Necchi architectural firm. They are forging some of the most ambitious projects in the Paris and have (already) been featured on the cover of AD (Architectural Digest). We’re thrilled and proud to have had them at our side in creating 14 Cité Bergère.

WELCOME TO OUR NEW HOME

So, it’s not exactly a typical boutique, per se. It starts out more like a lounge snuggled under a striped canopy. The space then transforms into and alternates between luxury liner and spaceship, finally touching down in a gentlemen's club, all lush carpeting and cozy club chairs. Ready to board?

TWO FLOORS OF BLISS

The period spiral staircase is what first caught my eye. Planted in the middle of the ground floor, it connects the boutique to our creative design studio one floor above. Our aim was to create a place where our teams can get your feedback on our products and services instantly. Give it a go - we’re all ears!

On the décor side, our Madeleine Castaing inspired canopy flirts with 70s futurism. Military jackets from my personal collection rub shoulders with automaton bandanas. The varnished wood-adorned Club leads onto a Music Studio. And all this happens while still paying hommage to our ateliers and their savoir-faire.

Our ties and bow ties were bursting out of our previous display cabinet. But now you’ll find them lovingly placed in a specially designed 7-meter-long suede-lined, wall-to-wall cabinet of drawers. Just what they deserve.

In the music studio at the far end, you can play vinyl (real old-school records) collected by a DJ friend, Mehdi, who also creates special music collections for the store. Every month, we feature his newly created playlist and put it on our Spotify account online for you to enjoy. A treat.

A SPACE FOR EXCEPTIONAL CRAFTSMANSHIP

We've gained quite a bit of space, so we invited our friends: Artisans with unique skills who’ve become benchmarks in their fields. You can admire Esquivel shoes handmade in California, Laulhère french berets, English tuxedo slippers from Bowhill & Eliott, gloves made in Millau by Maison Fabre, candles from Ciergerie des Premontés, and so on...

COLLECTOR'S ITEMS

In addition to the cufflinks and studs in our vintage collections, we’ve added unique glasses unearthed by an enthusiastic Parisian collector. And depending on my finds, we also have vintage decorative objects for sale. For example, for the Christmas season, there are designer candlesticks that took months to seek out. Oh yeah, we also have some rare vinyl turntables refurbished by a cabinetmaker. Total gems.

OUR NEW PRODUCTS

Also, for several months now, we’ve been working on creating some new products: Upcycled creations from our fabric scraps, recycled cashmere and lambskin gloves, keychains, and many other items coming soon. Having space really makes a difference!
