Our new summer caps and bucket hats

TWO EXISTENTIAL QUESTIONS
With summer in full swing, everyone is wondering, “What terrasse should I choose this evening?” And above all: bucket hat or cap? As usual, you'll find answers to your philosophical questions in this newsletter (it's getting hot under our headwear, so we’re ready to head off on vacation...).
BUCKET HAT OR CAP?
This year I am happy to introduce you to a new addition to the Cinabre family: I named it “le bob”. It’s an accessory that can be very divisive and the debate continues to rage in our team between cap enthusiasts and diehard devotees of ”les bobs” (bucket hats).

We have created a collection that reflects our image, giving pride of place to patterns and colors: yellow, pink, green, purple, etc. One of our bucket hats is even reversible so you don't have to choose between stripes and flowers!
Made in Loir-et-Cher, France our bucket hats are put together by Emmanuelle, the newest member of our atelier team. They are lined with a blue and white striped seersucker fabric on the inside (except the reversible model of course)
ZOOM IN ON OUR CAPS
As with our previous collections, we drew inspiration for our caps from our most beautiful tie and bow tie fabric. For the 2022 défilé: a floral fabric screen-printed in Provence, lovely linens from Italy, or a very uniquely textured linen-cotton fabric for the “Ile-de-la-Cité n°2” model.
Two caps with a very subtle herringbone complete the collection. The pattern creates an iridescent effect, and the color varies slightly with the light.
Cinabre caps are made in the South-West of France, in Jurançon, at the same atelier we’ve been working with since our first collections in 2018.

WHERE TO WEAR OUR SUMMER HEADWEAR IN PARIS
To keep our caps and bobs on throughout the day, I recommend three adresses parisiennes for this summer:
L'Auberge du Bonheur: “Go green” without leaving Paris. Discreetly hidden behind the gourmet restaurant La Grande Cascade, this bistro features a beautiful terrace on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne.
Marcel: My HQ in Montmartre, and perhaps one of the most charming terrasses in Paris - under the trees and around the corner from the mythical Villa Léandre. Tammily and her husband concoct a menu with a strong Anglophone slant. I love the fried chicken with honey mustard sauce. And the legendary calm of avenue Junot.
Virage: As Paris is saturated with cocktail bars and coffee shops, the opening of new clubs/nightclubs is becoming increasingly rare. So, it’s essential to encourage the latest addition, Virage, located under Le Périph (Boulevard Périphérique - ring road). We were at the (Re)opening yesterday, what an atmosphere!
