Black Tie Set

If you are invited to a "black tie" event, it is time to wear your best tuxedo.

This exceptional evening attire, stil imposed in some parties, features two iconic accessories: the black bow tie and the cummerbund.

The bow tie and cummerbund are made entirely of the same exclusive black silk satin.

Thanks to a traditional savoir-faire and weaving looms dating back to the 19th century, we have been able to achieve the deepest and densest black satin (160 weft passages/centimeter). The machines work at a slow pace in order to preserve the quality of the silk and thus guarantee the exceptional quality of our products.

This bow tie has been handmade in the CINABRE atelier in Loir et Cher where the savoir-faire of handmade bow ties has been passed on for 3 generations.

The bow tie you will receive is already tied and ready to use. It is an authentic bow tie, so you will have the possibility - if you wish - to undo it and tie it again afterwards in your own way.

The Cinabre cummerbund is handmade in Paris in an atelier where several generations of tailors have been working since the 1950s. It is made of black satin and a red silk twill Cinabre lining (invisible when worn).

The black Cinabre cummerbund is designed according to tradition as evidenced by the three visible pleats. It is stretchable up to 110 cm (43,31 inches). The wide, ultra-stretchy elastic bands and matte black steel adjustment buckles allow the belt to comfortably fit any body type. Discreet coin pockets and elastic button closure on the back of the belt provide added convenience.
