How to tie a bow tie?
The Cinabre bow ties are sold pre-tied but you can tie it yourself afterwards. Discover our video below and go through all the following steps to learn how to tie a bow tie. It is not that difficult and it gives an authentic look to your bow tie.
It is important in a first step to choose the right size for your bow tie.
The bigger is the size of the metric band the larger is the size of your bow tie and vice versa.
For your first times we recommend to choose a large size for the metric band, it will be easier to tie the bow tie.
When you will be more comfortable reduce the size in order to obtain a smaller bow tie.
During this step we recommend you to have the knot properly tight.
It will maintain the bow tie right in place and adjusted to your shirt.
If your bow tie does not stay straight in place it means you did not enough tighten the knot on your neck.
Tighten more the knot during this step or adjust the metric band if your bow tie is already tied.
These steps will define the global shape of your bow tie.
If you make large folds you will have a wide and generous bow tie. If you make short folds you will have a smaller bow tie.
Don't expect your bow tie to be perfect at this stage.
